NZ Federation of Multicultural Councils

The New Zealand Federation of Multicultural Councils is an incorporated, non-government body, which acts as an umbrella organisation for ethnic communities of New Zealand.  The Federation's primary role is to advocate, lobby, support and share information among the Regional Councils and New Zealand's Ethnic Communities.  The challenge for the Federation is to provide an opportunity for people from all segments of New Zealand's diverse society to address the challenges facing our multicultural communities.

Citizens Advice Bureau NZ (CABNZ) established a formal partnership with the NZ Federation of Multicultural Councils for the CABNZ Digital Strategy Project under the terms of reference of the Digital Strategy Community Partnership Fund (a fund administered by the Department of Internal Affairs).

CABNZ received significant funding from the Fund for our Digital Strategy Project which enabled CABNZ to develop a new, integrated technology solution (of which this website is a part) and thereby enhance our service to the public.  Partnership under the CABNZ Digital Strategy Project involved contributions to the Project by our Project Partners, either in-kind or monetary contributions.  In-kind contributions included the provision of advice and/or expertise on various aspects of the project.  CABNZ is grateful for all the contributions made by our Project Partners.
