2 September to 8 September is Money Week, and during this time there are a whole range of activities to help you learn ways to manage your finances better.
Money Week is the brainchild of the Commission for Financial Literacy, aiming to increase public awareness of the benefits of being financially literate.
Activities include:
- Competitions

- Planning for your retirement
- Tips for saving money
- Free financial advice from professional financial advisers
Most of the events and activities are free and open to all, though some require you to book ahead. You can find out about what’s on in your area by visiting the Money Week website.
You can find a wide range of information about money on our website, including information about budgeting and debt, banking, taxes, loans, hire purchase agreements and lots more. If you need budgeting advice your local Bureau can help you find the assistance you need.
